Leadership & Board of Directors

ITLS Northern Lights Chapter is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors drawn from Canadian emergency medicine, prehospital care, and military medicine. Our leadership team is accountable to our members, our students, and to International Trauma Life Support.

Governance

The Chapter operates as a Canadian federal not-for-profit corporation under the Canada Not-for-profit Corporations Act, and as a recognized chapter of International Trauma Life Support. Our Medical Director provides clinical oversight of all course delivery and instructor certification.

Our Instructor Team

Our faculty includes primary, advanced, and critical care paramedics, emergency and trauma nurses, emergency physicians, military medical technicians, and tactical medicine providers. Instructor candidates are selected for clinical credibility, teaching ability, and commitment to student success.
