Volunteer With the Chapter

ITLS Northern Lights runs on the commitment of clinicians, responders, and educators who give their time to raise the standard of trauma care in Canada.

Ways to contribute

  • Teach — join our instructor faculty and teach Provider courses
  • Support courses — assist with skills stations, moulage, and simulated patients
  • Coordinate — help plan and run courses as a Course Coordinator
  • Outreach — deliver Stop the Bleed sessions in schools, workplaces, and community events
  • Committees — contribute to education, quality, communications, or governance work
  • Translation — support bilingual delivery of courses and materials

Who we are looking for

Paramedics, nurses, physicians, military medical personnel, firefighters, and students who care about doing this well. Clinical certification is required for teaching roles; many support roles are open to anyone willing to help.
